Make Your Own Kalimba
A kalimba is an African musical instrument with a wooden soundboard and metal keys. Participants will learn to make one at this workshop using local wood. Its soothing sounds will be yours to keep. Participants will learn how to use a table saw, how to mark out on a material correctly, use a power drill, sanding techniques and finishing. (*If you have less than 15pax, we are still able to conduct the workshop. The minimum spend would be 15pax to start the class e.g. if you have 7pax, we will charge for 15pax. If you’d like to utilise our showroom space for some refreshments after your workshop, we offer a rate of SGD200/hour (U.P SGD250/hour). This rate only applies to the usage of the space. All refreshments and arrangements has to be self-provided.)

This workshop will go over composting and eco enzymes, which is the process of converting food waste into nutrient-rich organic materials that can be used to improve soil health and as a multi-purpose liquid detergent, respectively. Make a Botanic Print Greeting Card
The learning objective of the Botanic Printing workshop is to introduce participants to the art of natural cloth printing using botanical materials. In this hands-on workshop, participants will learn various techniques to create beautiful and unique designs on fabric using leaves, flowers, and natural dyes. They will explore the process of eco-friendly printing, from preparing the fabric and selecting plant materials to transferring the natural pigments onto the cloth and onto the card. Through this workshop, participants will gain a deeper appreciation for sustainable textile art and develop new creative skills while creating their own botanical-printed fabric pieces to take home.
